Face Painting

Face painting
Since 2008 face painting has been offered on all children’s parties at no extra charge where possible, I normaly only face paint about one third of the children attending depending on what they want painting and how long it might take to paint it
I generally only paint full paintings on children of school age as they sit still better and their skin is better suited to the paint, but I have painted children as young as 3 years old
I also as well as face painting do printing this is more suited to parties where the child would like something small like a small butterfly on there cheek or on their arm, this is also good for small children as it only takes a few seconds to print a picture of their choice.
I use Snazaroo face paint and Grimas paint these i find are very good paints to use and come in alot of different colours, and the paint is easy removed with soap and water or a wet wipeI can also be hired for events just as a face painter and have a small set up and I can even bring my own table.
Why not have all the children looking like Clowns!
10 Points to note
In the interest of Hygiene
- We do not paint any child with cold sores or any skin conditions, open wounds, broken skin or any eye infections
- We do not paint any child under the age of 3 years without parent or the caring adult permission, we will offer to print a small picture if possible
- We reserve the right to refuse any person painting of their face or hand without notice without giving reason
- If a child is painted we recommend that the paint is not left on the skin overnight
- If a child is painted with some colours like red then the skin may have a red glow for a while this is quite normal as the paint gets into the pores in the skin and may leave a glow on the face
- To remove the paint we recommend that you use soap and water or wet wipes. If you have any parts that are hard to remove then use baby oil or make up remover
- We do not always paint around the eye as this will make it easier for you to remove the paint if the child is young
- All paints used are water soluble
- All the paints we use are hypoallergenic paints. If your child complains about irritation of their skin they may be allergic so please remove as soon as possible
- Your childs face paint is not water proof and may smudge if rubbed by the childs hand or with food or drink, and could rub off onto their clothes but should wash out with soap and cold water
